GI值(升糖指數),是用來衡量吃進食物後血糖上升的快慢,但為什麼我們要在意食物的GI值呢?
以前國中生物老師說? :
「當血液中血糖上升,胰島素就會分泌將血液中的血糖轉換成肝醣或脂肪儲存。」
?因此,當我們吃進高GI值的食物,血糖快速上升,胰島素就會隨之大量分泌促使體脂肪的形成,體脂肪形成後血糖濃度再次下降,因此你會覺得自己好像沒有飽而吃過量。
所以大家要多多攝取低GI值的食物噢^_^

Glycemic index indicates the speed in which blood sugar rises after we consume foods. We’ve all heard our biology teachers say?:
“When blood sugar rises, our bodies will produce insulin, converting blood sugar into glycogen or fat storage.”

We when eat foods with a high glycemic index level, blood sugar will rise rapidly, as a result, insulin will be produced, promoting formation of body fat. Once the fat has been formed, blood sugar falls, leaving you feeling hungry to thus overeat.

So next time, try to eat more foods with lower glycemic index 😀
